Welcome to Farrer Playschool

The Farrer Playschool is a not-for-profit, community-based education and care facility for children from 3 - 5 years old. The Playschool’s fully qualified staff use a structured pedagogical model to help develop the social skills and confidence that will be of value to them in their formal school years including preschool, Kindergarten and beyond. This is fostered through play based learning and is lots of fun!

Our aim is to help your child develop the valuable social and self-confidence skills to help them prepare for, and flourish in, their years at formal schooling.

We are operational for three long sessions each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (9:30am - 2:30pm) during ACT school term times (not including pupil free days). Each day follows its own routine, providing a sense of security and predictability for the children. At times our routine may vary due to inclement weather conditions.

We will also begin commencing a vacation care program during school holidays. This will run on Monday mornings from 9:30-11:30am.
